What do YOU consider ‘Wholesome Values?’

Placeholder Image

If you have read my piece ‘Today’s World Knows No Right or Wrong.’ Stop right now and take a quick second and read.

Now that you have read about my opinion of how the world is no longer paying close attention to rights and wrongs. http://suziland.net/ Made the great point that some of these values might be subjective. This is very true and I would love to hear some of the ‘wholesome values’ you might consider teaching your children to make a world a better place.

Like http://suziland.net/ suggested…

  • telling the truth
  • respecting your family
  • respecting others

These are great examples… I’ll add to the list.

  • respecting your elders
  • do no cheat
  • be loyal and faithful to your spouse
  • listen before speaking
  • if you cant say anything nice do not say it at all
  • take care of those in need

I would LOVE to add your opinions to my list. Comment with suggestions.

So nice and a good post. I second what Suze has said and even being less judgemental, compassionate, happy and loving towards one and all whether they can be anything just being humane will go along way to make this world a better place to live and being unselfish too.

I totally agree with this post…it saddens me the direction the world seems to be going
I’d also like to add to the list…..MODESTY

We need a LOT more of it….per there has been an even MORE drastic decline in not only how society views women, but how SOME women regard & view themselves & have exploited themselves.
Especially thru use of the media. Great post πŸ™‚
